Greetings all,

My company currently uses Lotus Notes 6.5.2 and I have been asked to become certified in Application Development and Administration for Lotus. I do not think we have any immediate plans to upgrade. My question is, from a development and administration perspective, how different are these two releases (6.5.2 vs 8.0)?

Specifically, I'm reviewing my options for classes to take and I'm finding some 8.0 classes that better accommodate my schedule. Would I be okay to take the 8.0 classes or are there too many drastic differences between the two? Thanks.
